P.S. on the writing

I'm woefully stuck. I'm hitting that place where you lose steam and start going crazy while working on a novel. I have no idea wtf I'm doing.

someone wise once recently told me that you have to just keep writing and write through it. it turned out to be good advice.

yes, write through it or write around it. as in, do you see a scene that occurs AFTER this stuck point? if so, skip the hard part and go to that scene. you can go back and fix this later when you revise.

i wrote through a bad scene doing nano, knowing i'd never use it and it was all wrong. but it took me further into the tale to scenes i did use.

then on the first revision, i axed the bad scene and rewrote. whatever gets you to the ENDING, girl.=) good luck!

ps. none of us first timers know what we're doing. it's called virginal novel-writing. haha!
